Bombadier - Life time stress tests on fighter planes

To ensure the continuing safety of Tucano fighter plane simulated stress tests were required on the structure. The rig that was built by Bombadier's engineers in Belfast to place cyclic tension and compression forces on the structure used 5 of Synectic Design's SY035 weight indicators with data logging in a panel to capture the peak forces and output the data to their pc for analysis.  This is just one of the innovative solutions that Synectic conceived in discussion with a client.  For details of SY035 follow this link; www.synectic.co.uk/product.php
