Case Study: PML Compressive Tester
The PML Concrete tester is a fully portable concrete compression instrument which can be used to test the strength of concrete and mortar cubes in accordance with BS1881: Testing of Concrete.
It has been designed to be fully portable, and can be used for quality control on site or in a manufacturing plant, and is equally useful for use in a development laboratory.

The PML concrete compressive tester consists of a robust steel body with detachable supports designed to take the rigours of site work. The load cell is safely contained at the top of the frame. The test meter can be set to a number of different load settings.
The hydraulic jack is operated by a simple handle. The load cell is linked to a digital display which hold the failed strength.
It is supplied with a cube mould for four samples.
