Case Study: Load cell manufacturers ICAs
In cell amplifiers remove the possibility of electrical noise interfering with the millivolt signals generated by strain guages, the integrity of the signals is vital to the accuraqcy of the data transmitted. Placing an amplifier inside a pocket in the cell is the best possible way of removing the chance of noise degrading the signal. Synectic Design's SY014 amplifier available in two or three wire configuration has been proving its worth for twelve years, improvements have been made along the way. A new generation is in development. We will keep you informed but expect 18mm or less diameter with zero and span adjustment as with the current devices but greater stability and accuracy.
