SY021-DC: Dual Channel load meter

We believe the SY021-DC load meter is unique,in that it is a portable instrument that takes measurements from two transducers simultaneously. These can be load cells or any strain gauge bridge transducers. By using the peak and trough facilities the data logging version can capture and store incidents with time and date stamps for later analysis. Combinations of load cells, loadcell and LVDT and load cell and pressure transducer have immediately obvious applications in combination. Each transducer reading is displayed on one of the 2 lines of 16 characters. The alpha-numeric display enables user friendly prompts to ease the set up and calibration procedures. 99 sets of calibration values are stored in non-volatile memory. Calibration can be by applying a known load or by entering the millivolt (amp) scaling factor and the full scale range from the calibration certificate.

The full numeric keypad is another feature that makes this versatile instrument so easy to use.  Peak and trough capture at 60 readings per second as standard  or 1000 per second on Fast option.  Data logging, downloaded via RS232 comms. is an optional extra, as is a plug top mains power supply, a protective rubber boot and a padded aluminium storage/carry case.
