SY045: Weight Indicator

The SY045 high precision weight indicator requires just a nominal 3V (loop voltage) to operate. The unit can be directly connected to up to 4 x 350Ω loadcells or in an existing current loop to display scaled  measurements. The SY045 has a +/- 5 digit 18mm display.  It great advantage is that it uses  so little power. The unit is supplied as two versions in one (jumper selectable)

The indicator is linked to loadcells and draws voltage required for operation from the loadcell excitation ( 4 - 14Vdc).  These are ideal where an indication of a tank content is required and load cells are being excited by a separate control system a Synectic SY005 batch weigher or SY017 recipe batch controller for example. (It is not essential that it is Synectic instruments)

The indicator placed in an  existing current loop will drop just 3V from the loop.
