SY046: Digitally Tareable Amplifier


The SY046 strain gauge amplifier provides a 4-20mA output with and a remotely triggered zero offset. A feature of great value when access is difficult after load cells or other strain gauged components have been installed in difficult environments.  The zero can be reset by means of a positive voltage pulse  (in the range +3 to +30V) or by a link to 0V  (0-20KΩ). A wide range of mV/V sensitivities is accepted (please specify). With a flexible remote zero input the unit can be easily set for 4mA zero or 12mA zero offset. The load cell amplifier has an on board switching regulator which covers a  wide range of dc voltage ( 9-30Vdc). 4 x 350Ω bridge transducers can be excited. Connection by rising clamp terminals through rubber glands when sold in enclosure. Output is current only. The unit can be supplied in an ABS or a painted diecast aluminum case, 100 x 50 x 25mm.
