Synectic Design Ltd has 3 divisions to provide a range of services to suit customer requirements.

Synectic Control - For the design and manufacture of control instrumentation for control batching and weighing applications. Products include force gauges, torque transducers. Many of Synectic design’s instruments are alternatives to PLCs (programmable logic controllers). When accurate measurement is the most important feature generic PLC modules cannot really compete. Synectic Design Ltd specialises in measurement and if you need us to offer solutions to control the rest of your process too talk to us.

Synectic Test and Measure - For the design and manufacture of test and measurement instrumentation such as weight, stress, strain, torque, industrial measurement(s) with fine tolerances. Uses from robust large industrial applications to incredibly fine measurements in difficult environments. From Formula 1 racing cars with high vibration and high temperature issues requiring ultra high accuracy, to steel mills with electrically noisy environments and safety critical processes.

Synectic Design - For the design and manufacture of bespoke instrumentation products. Customised industrial and scientific instruments have been developed for such a variety of applications it would be difficult to list them all. What we do best is measurement, if something we do looks nearly right for you we may have done it before, so ask if we have there will be no extra cost beyond that of the standard product. If it is just a repackaging exercise the cost will depend on whether you want one or a thousand. We customise software on our microprocessor based controllers. A batch controller designed to weigh in industrial environments is used with modified firmware to assist in the twisting of aeroplane wings.
